About Dream Care Learning Center in Kentucky
We are a child care center in Kentucky, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old, as well as additional After School Care for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
We believe in a collaborative learning environment, with consistent communication between the child, parent, and teacher, as this is essential for creating an effective learning environment.
This collaborative approach to learning encourages open communication, creativity, and problem-solving. Additionally, this helps to foster an understanding between all three parties, which can lead to better academic outcomes.
Collaborative learning helps to build trust between the parent, teacher, and student and will create a more positive and engaging learning experience for everyone involved. This also provides important opportunities for our teachers to gain crucial insights into each child's learning style, while parents can gain a better understanding of the child's school work.
Collaborative learning can also help the child to better understand their own strengths and weaknesses, and how to best use them for success in the classroom, at our child care center, and beyond!
Our Philosophy
At Dream Care Learning Center, we believe that all children are capable of learning and achieving great things. We strive to create an environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential while they grow and learn in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Our philosophy centers around the importance of providing children with a balanced approach to learning and development. We believe that providing opportunities for children to explore and discover, think critically, and make decisions is essential to their ongoing growth and development.
We also emphasize the importance of building strong relationships and fostering positive self-esteem and confidence by providing children with a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
Additionally, by providing a well-rounded curriculum, we can help children develop an understanding of the world around them and their place in it. We believe in fostering a love of learning and exploration by providing stimulating and creative activities that can help children develop motor, language, and cognitive skills. Above all, we strive to create an environment of mutual respect, trust, and support between the children, their families, and our teachers!

Here at Dream Care Learning Center, we decided to do things a bit differently!
After founding Hoop Dreams in 2007, a coaching and mentoring service that supports young basketball players to achieve their dreams, Mike Scott (Owner) has now extended his enthusiasm for supporting young people into Dream Care Learning Center!
Alongside Owner & Director Beth Scott, and Assistant Director & Lead After School Director Mark Davidson, the senior team at Dream Care believes that a child's education should be tailored to their individual needs and interests, and provide them with the tools and resources to confidently develop into their best selves.

About Our Team
Mike Scott,
Owner
Mike Scott is our owner and operator of Dream Care Learning Center. Mike is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and has spent the past 20+ years coaching and mentoring children through the game of basketball and beyond.
Mike is a devoted, disciplined leader who is dedicated to the success of all students of Dream Care Learning Center.
Beth Scott,
Owner & Director
Beth Scott, our owner and Director of Dream Care Learning Center has over 13 years experience in education. Beth obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Transylvania University in 2009 and Master’s Degree in Health Education from Eastern Kentucky in 2010.
Beth is passionate about developing the lives and experiences of our students in Dream Care Learning Center. She is devoted to our students, our families, their success and experience at our center.
Mark Davidson,
Assistant Director /
Lead After School Director
Mark Davidson, our Assistant Director and Lead After School Teacher graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Leadership.
As our Assistant Director and Lead After School Director, Mark is passionate about providing a learning environment that is both challenging and nurturing, that meets the needs of each student in his classroom. Mark is a leader and role model for all of our Dream Care Learning students.
